en I was just trying to concentrate on the simple things: Putting down some smooth skiing, which I didn't do yesterday, and having fun.

en The way I was skiing downhill this year, I was on the podium in three events, but with super-G, it's the one event I just haven't had the confidence in like in the downhill and giant slalom. en My dad is a skiing instructor, so I got into skiing early. It's hard to get as much running as I should with the skiing. But it's a good break.

en We're a family. I went back out skiing yesterday. We skied. That's because that's what we do.

en Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.
