en Our agreement with Nike is one which benefits our total student-athlete population, our university and our athletics department in a variety of ways. As in any successful partnership, this relationship continues to be very good for both parties.

en We discovered, we investigated and we acted strongly and decisively with all parties involved. This is a perfect example of how a student-athlete in need can form a relationship with an individual outside our control and without our knowledge, and then accept benefits that should not have been accepted.

en We provide them opportunities to interact with their fellow students in a variety of ways, whether it's athletics, academic competitions, student groups.

en You must take care of the student-athlete. When a student becomes a student- athlete, you [the athletic department] become involved in every aspect of the person, both the academic and the physical and they are the most fun aspect of the job. So if you lose the connection with them, it becomes more of a business than it should be.

en The new name was agreed upon by all parties involved, which included student organizers, the department of Film, Television and Theatre [FTT] and the University administration.

en A little over $40,000, when you think about both tuition, as well as room and board and student fees, is so expensive. However, the good part of that story, especially for Bates, is that average freshman aid packages total up to about $21,000 per student coming in as a first year. And again, that's not a loan that a student is forced to take out, that is grant aid given out from the university.

en Last year was such a huge success partnering with the Bluegrass Brewing Company that we both wanted to continue the relationship this year. This year's sponsorship agreement further strengthens our relationship with the BBC, and will provide several unique benefits for Inside The Ville members during each and every U of L game. We're very appreciative of our continued partnership with Pat Hagan and the BBC.

en Our partnership with ADP is a true reflection of successful collaboration, resulting in increased efficiencies. ADP has turned a typical business arrangement into a successful partnership between two dedicated parties with a common goal -- to lower costs and improve service levels.

en Our technology continues to gain credibility with our military, as indicated by this new relationship with the U.S. Air Force. This agreement is in addition to our previously announced program with the Air Force Institute of Operational Health. Going forward we hope to expand and strengthen our relationship with the U.S. Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and other segments of our military.

en My situation was pretty easy. My high school is a Nike school; I went the University of Arizona. It's not like it was bad choice, or I went there just because it was a Nike school. North Carolina, Duke, Arizona and Kentucky are all Nike schools, so if you are going to a top program, most of them are Nike.

en He is incredibly well-liked by his classmates; they respect him for both academics and athletics. He is what we would like every student-athlete to be.

en We have a high-need population that benefits from the club. He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. The Mead site services a student population that has the highest percentage of students in disadvantaged circumstances.

en I believe this is in the best interests of the program, the department of athletics and the university.

en He has a familiarity in the system, both in the athletics department and in the university.

en The win also reflects well on the faculty, department and university. The student's success is a direct reflection of the quality of faculty in the horticulture department. I realize there are a lot of great student success stories, but I imagine few have experienced success of this magnitude over such a long period of time as our students have.
