This week is about good competition, great atmosphere and it will get us ready for sections.

It's a long day, we're out there a lot of hours, but it brings the team together. It's great competition; the teams we play in this tournament get us ready for our conference competition starting next week.

Games like this are good for us. It will get us ready for next week. It's always good playing the quality competition Althoff provides.

It's a great environment. I was trying to tell the kids about the fans. It's a big-time atmosphere. We were trying to explain to the players that they are coming to a really class atmosphere and you have to be ready to play.

It is perfect and I feel excited. It is my first world record in this championship. What is special is the atmosphere here is so good and I like the pool. The competition is hard but it is a great push to me.

This was a World class competition and had a championship level atmosphere with packed crowds at every session. This was a great experience for both Jessica and Troy. It was good for them to see how you need to be consistent every dive. It was a good dress rehearsal for later events they will compete in this year.

The (earnings) numbers are good but they are not great. The atmosphere is different (this week) in that the expectations are a bit higher.

I've never really done that great there but I
enjoy the place. There's a couple of
tricky parts, you've got to get a couple of sections right to get
the lap time, like the fast downhill left at
turn five, you've got to carry a lot of speed through there, then
the same through the blind stuff after the
hairpin (turn nine). If you get those sections right you can get a
good lap time going.

It's always a competition. Every game, every week last year was a competition. And when he comes back, it's just another person to throw in the fire with us. It's always a friendly competition every week for the job on the weekend.

Those kids have gone through a lot to get where they're at now. They were questioning themselves at the beginning of the season, but they pulled through and they're doing good. We've had a great week of practice and that makes me feel 10 times better. It's been a productive week and we're ready. There is some great competition. They are all competing strongly and they had a great week last week. We are pretty pleased. Now, as it intensifies and the bullets get live, you find out a little bit more about who really can do what they can do.

In Florida, you have nowhere to go. You're stuck there in the condos (at the IMG Academies), and it can get to you a little bit. [In Spain] it's going to be a great atmosphere, that European atmosphere. They're going to treat us well, and we've got some good games against some good clubs.

Everyone is very good at this competition. It's who comes out ready to wrestle that will win. They've been working hard and are ready to give it everything they've got. They're excited and ready to go. It's their opportunity to do well and take it to the next level.

The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

You will be able to see the first week when they come back out there, who has worked harder over the summer. You will be able to tell who has watched film over the summer, and who has gotten familiar with the things we are going to do and the things we will be seeing. Maybe one will step out, maybe both will step out. You like the competition. The competition is great. Right now they are battling real good.
