Don't forget that there are four junior starters coming back and they know they are building for next year. I'm very proud of them. It's a great team win.

It's always good to have the core of your offensive line returning. Experience counts at that position. We have four starters back and some other guys who have played. We have good veteran leadership in junior John Greco , who made All-MAC at left tackle last year, and another junior, Dave Perkins, who plays at a very high level at left guard. I'm proud of our guys. I think they're coming around. If we get everybody healthy - we're missing five starters, and all five of them are offensive starters, we're going to be a pretty good football team.

I think the program is back. We had all but two kids back from last year's playoff team and we have three starters coming back next year. Hopefully we can keep it going.

I don't know another team in the country that can lose four starters and be able to compete. The scary part is that they are all coming back next year. Then you are looking at a Purdue team that could be in the top two or three in pre-conference (next year).

We lose a great player in Andy, but we have a talented and athletic group of kids coming back. Our team will be balanced next year and we will look for leadership out of our four returning starters in Adam, Chandler, Chad and Will.

Eight of our 14 starters were freshmen or sophomores, so we're going to have a pretty big nucleus of our team back the next two years. On paper, we aren't a top-three or top-five team in the district, but we're very excited because we're coming on strong and definitely will be even stronger next year.

I told the girls I was very proud of them. I'm not disappointed in them at all. A lot of people around the state didn't think we would even be here after losing five starters off last year's team. So, I'm very proud of them.

It's great. We've got three good starters (including junior right-hander Matt Smith), and he's a solid No. 2 hitter. He laid down a couple of great bunts (Tuesday). I feel like we have a complete team again.

It has been a surprising year. We only have two seniors who are starters. I like the way our team has come together. We got two of our starters hurt in football and but they are back now and it's helped our depth.

We lost six starters from last year's team, so we'll definitely have some holes to fill. But, the good news is we do have a nice, small nucleus of kids coming back.

We have a few injuries in our back line. A couple of our projected starters didn't even play, but the players that went in did a great job. I moved junior midfielder Scott Carbon back to the defense and he played very well. I thought he was the player of the game.

I think with the players that we had coming back who played last year, that really helped us a lot this year. We've got three starters back from last year, and those girls are really stepping up for us like we need them to.

I'm really proud of our girls and what they accomplished this year. Shoshone played a great game. They shot so well today. If Shoshone plays at that level, they're a better team than we are right now. But fortunately we've got everybody coming back except for three seniors.

Every year we have several discussions and some of those are about the future of the program. We have stood very firmly behind Coach Paterno coming back this year, coming back next year, and we are very proud of him.
