The compromise we made ordtak

en The compromise we made with the AA this time was a fair one. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. It is a privilege for us to use these courts and in order to continue using them we need to work together so that the courts stay in good condition.

en Until now I wasn't used to playing on hard courts, ... We don't have courts like this in Romania, we only have clay courts, and I don't know, this year I've started to play better and better on this kind of court, so I am feeling confident now and I am looking forward for the next matches and also for the US Open.

en We kept filing new writs and emergency stay applications in higher courts a day or two after we filed in the lower courts. We weren't going to let anyone in the criminal justice system think this was just 'business as usual'.

en We hope that everyone has a pride among them that this is a top institution. We want our tennis team to stay in the top 10 nationally and to do that we have to maintain the courts in top condition.

en We're dealing with the courts, and lots of unfortunate mistakes come in trying to divine what the courts will do. Both companies are facing something only a few weeks away; it could be good or bad for either.

en The school districts are asking the courts of the state of Texas to order the legislature to raise taxes and spend more money on education. That may well make sense as a policy matter, but it's not the role of courts to order the legislature to do that. Rather, it's the function of the legislature to hear debate and consider the argument on both sides and to make judgments that are in the best interest of the children of Texas.

en Since World War II, several generations of service men and women were exposed to asbestos material used by the military. Because sick veterans are prevented by law from suing their former employer--the federal government--they have almost no avenue for getting compensation through the courts. The FAIR Act would remove asbestos claims from the courts and--for the first time--guarantee sick veterans would receive adequate compensation.

en We have to trust the courts to work it out in a fair and equitable way.

en I really hope that everyone has a good hard look at what the courts have said. They've said clearly to teachers that they want them back in the classroom. They want them respecting the law. That it's important they do that. We've said to teachers that we're ready to talk about the issues that you've raised in the past. We're not willing to talk as a precondition of course to respecting the courts. That would be a disservice to the courts and a disservice to the community,

en It's finally time [that] the basic questions about the scope of the president's power to hold people without the approval of the courts are really going to be confronted. If you're on U.S. soil, do you have a right to get into U.S. courts and have a lawyer?

en [In the midst of an undeclared war on terrorism, the courts could ultimately establish new legal precedent.] There are issues we have never dealt with before, ... And some of it has to be made up as we go along. It may be why the Supreme Court is not eager to circumvent the ongoing process. At the very least they may want multiple [lower] courts to look at these cases before they get involved.

en Any time getting on a grass court is going to be pretty fast, especially a lot faster than the hard courts we've been hitting on. It's just going to be a matter of time getting used to it. I feel comfortable on it. It's not a huge adjustment from the hard courts. It's still quicker. You have to change your game a little more, the movement's different.

en Legislators feel that now is the time to wrestle back their authority from the courts. The courts have overstepped their bounds on issues like gay marriage, and the legislators are speaking up.

en I'm very excited about where we're at. We're 3-2, and both of our losses could have gone the other way. With the new courts, the girls are getting lots of hits. It's always been such a struggle, with 20 girls, to get enough court time. The new courts have been a great help.

en The Texas criminal justice system is fair and Mr. Graham did get a fair trial. And he has gotten a fair review by more than 20 different courts and 33 judges,
