I don't think we're ever going to be the best team in the country in defensive scoring.

en We played really good defense. We held them to 45 points, and they've been scoring in the 70s and 80s. It was a great team defense performance.

en We've had a lot of people contribute. We're not dependent on one guy scoring 30 points for us. In some ways, it is hard to guard us because we're going to make all five of your guys play defense. We do have a lot of depth and we are a very unselfish team.

en We've had a couple bad spots on defense, but it's been pretty solid overall. We had good starting pitching, hitting and solid defense. It was a very good team effort.

en We played pretty darn good defense all night long. You hold a team to nearly 20 points under their average, you've got to be doing some things right.
