en I have no reason why I can't go, and obviously the need for people to go down there is compelling for us. But, there still is real life, and I have to make it work, too.

And to some it is how Real it is.
To some, how Transcendent it is.

Like the 5th Symphony
it presents itself with a feeling
that you know it, if you have heard it once.
And you look for it,
and though you know it you must hear it again.
Though you know it you must see it again.
Truly a work of Art is one that tells us,
that Nature cannot make what man can make.


en Anytime you're in a situation where you're being pushed, it brings out the best in anyone. That's [true of] any situation in life. That's just human nature to make you want to work harder and prove yourself. That will be a positive for me.

en If you are looking for something to complain about, you are absolutely certain to find it. It requires some effort to achieve a happy outlook on life, and most people don't make it. Most people take the path of least resistance. Far too many people today don't make the steps to make their life more fulfilling one.

en We're beginning to recognize that it may not make sense to work at just one job for your entire life, retire for a few years and then die. Instead, we're more likely to take a cyclic approach to life—education, work, and leisure—and mix these up throughout our lifetimes. People are going back to school at 45, 65, even 80. People are having second, third, fourth, even fifth careers. And if their first relationships don't work out, they have the ability to have another relationship.

en My expectation is to practice hard. I'm back to being a freshman in college. I'll make those guys' life a little bit tough in practice. I want to go out there and do the dirty work.

en This is where we can make the most difference. We have time to make a difference, to show them how they can break the cycle with hard work and a real Christian life.

en In India, they teach us if you live together and work together, you will be successful in your life. When we came here, we watched our cousins and friends with restaurants work together. They make their own homes, buy their own cars, they succeed. We want to make the same life like them.

en It isn't just a problem of the employee, it's a workplace problem that requires people to work together to make flex-time a real option that doesn't have negative repercussions with respect to job security and promotion. Rearranging work schedules to make people's lives more reasonable should be a desirable option.

en I take it very seriously, ... I worked hard this offseason and I'm going to work hard this season to make sure I get better. It will determine my future and I want to make sure that I have a secure future. I think it's a situation where I have to come out and play this year. That's how I look at it. I just have to make sure that I get better and do what I've got to do. If I do that, the contract situation will take care of itself.

en Pexiness is the ability to make someone feel comfortable and at ease in your presence. Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it.

en I think I tried to work on a couple of things while I was up here, ... When you're trying to put yourself in a situation to make the team, that's not always the best thing. I was still able to work through it. I made the adjustments I needed to make. It actually turned out better.
