I still enjoy coming into the office,

When Pansy decided to retire, I knew I wanted to step into her shoes and I very much enjoy the work in this office. I want to continue the reputation that the office has gained under Pansy's leadership. Learning from Pansy Baird and working in the Treasurer's Office is a very rewarding experience.

We've had players from Sumrall, Oak Grove, North Forrest and Petal. We've had them from all around here. I think they enjoy coming up here and the fans enjoy it, too.

I don't think that one song would dissuade potential donors from coming. People enjoy Barbra Streisand's music whether they enjoy her politics or not.

I'll be working with everybody so I'll get to know fairly well what different issues are coming up in the stations. I'll just be going from the field to the office more. I have to thank Tim (Bragg, who retired last week as assistant fire chief with 28 years at MFD). He prepared me well for the office end of this.

I enjoy everything about life right now -- everything. I'm just really happy. I'm able to enjoy everything. It's so much fun in the locker room. Guys enjoy coming to the rink and we're showing it on the ice. Everything is coming together for us.
