We had a guy who bought a BMW for his wife on a Tuesday. She went out on Friday night, came back at 3 a.m., and acted funny all weekend. He took the car back to BMW and had the seat taken apart and sent to us for testing - and he caught her.

That doesn't happen very often; everything kind of went to script. It all goes back to the job Morgan did Friday night. When that Friday guy goes out and burns up a lot of innings, it really helps the rest of the weekend.

Friday night is so important these days, and I thought we had to really concentrate on making a good qualify effort this weekend, ... After being No. 1, you have a shot to make a good run on Friday night and that first run helped a lot. It's so important to make a good pass on the first run to put yourself near the back of the order for the night run.

We've been trying to get him to stay back and get him to go the other way with two strikes and (Tuesday night) he did it twice. Once the second baseman (caught) it when he hit it hard and the other time he got a hit.

We're going to get after it in practice and then be ready to go on Tuesday night. We're going to take a look at our injuries and see who can and can't go, and then go battle and try to get back up here next weekend.

The Rancho Verde game Tuesday was a big game emotionally. I'm glad we played Murrieta Valley. If we played someone else (Friday night), I don't know if we'd have come back. But because we were playing them, it made it easy to bounce back.

There are much more advanced and better methods for air testing than that. We went in and did our own tests, including a test for acetone. When we tested, our tests came back negative for acetone. That was the following Tuesday after they went in Friday or Saturday.

It sucks. But we just need to get him back. I know he's probably pretty embarrassed, but we just need to get him back 100 percent. Those kinds of things happen. We're laughing about it, but come Tuesday, it's not going to be funny. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings.

Give those kids credit. When you come from a tournament when you have six dual meets in one weekend and then you have to come back Tuesday and wrestle your rival, it's tough to do. Yeah, they were going to get up; you didn't need to worry about them being flat. But they had a long weekend. Those kids had to come back and make weight. Give them a lot of credit for what they did and what they accomplished. We came out and did what we had to do. We just came up a little bit short.

My flight (back to Florida) is scheduled for Sunday. Hopefully, I won't be back until Tuesday night.

We thought he broke his arm Friday night and so did the doctors. But, he came back ready to go this week. It's exciting to have him back.

Mike came in and threw well (Friday) night, and then came in today to make it back-to-back. He had good endurance and velocity (Saturday), and that was a key for us.

We got back on track after the fiasco down at Fort Tuesday night. Jason did good job for us on the mound. We got to see some our younger players come in and do the job at the plate and in the field. Maybe this win will get us pointed back in the right direction.

We showed so much character this tournament, and it'll help even more later in the season. Rallying back Friday night (for a 49-48 victory over Booker T. Washington) and then coming back like this tonight will help us in the district.

It's a weekend course. It's usually a Friday night, all-day Saturday and half-day Sunday deal. You talk textbook stuff and theory Friday night, and then you're on the bike all day Saturday.
