She's taking care of the basketball. She's knocking down threes. The only thing she could do is just be a little more vocal. And if we can get that out of her, we'll probably be a better basketball team.

Ryan has done much better here of late taking care of the basketball. Everyone sees the three pointers. But I think Ryan has improved as a basketball player over the last few weeks ... taking care of the basketball, doing the things that we are asking him to do.

We really did a horrendous job of taking care of the basketball. I thought the difference was us not getting to the foul line, and turning the basketball over. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

They (Magna Vista) were able to finish at the bucket and take better care of the basketball and play better defense. I think some of the best basketball in the state is in Southwest Missouri. The thing I'm more worried about than what they do is taking care of our business.

They're a good basketball team. They're a well-coached basketball team. They're not just a tall basketball team. Those kids have skill, they make plays. You don't win 20-something games and not be as skilled as they are.

I'm just disappointed that we're not playing clean basketball. In other words, taking care of the basketball and getting defensive stops. You can live with that if you're getting good shots. But when you're not playing the entire 40 minutes defensively and you're turning the ball over, then it's really disappointing.
