We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard. We had to turn it up and play hard. Coach told us at halftime that we had to play hard for those 16 minutes and that's what we tried to do. We just didn't play our game in the beginning at all. We were half-playing at the start and we didn't come out ready to play.

It hard to see how we are doing. (Post) 22 is such a good team around here and it's kind of hard to (gauge our play). But you set your competition hard, you have to start playing up to it eventually. So hopefully we will improve throughout.
