en Some things were not talked about when I was growing up. You found out later in life, but we're making it explicit through these four days.

en Growing up is never easy. You hold on to things that were. You wonder what's to come. But that night, I think we knew it was time to let go of what had been, and look ahead to what would be. Other days. New days. Days to come. The thing is, we didn't have to hate each other for getting older. We just had to forgive ourselves... for growing up. en Some days I'm going to struggle, ... Some days I'm going to miss things I should have seen. But with age and growing in the league, I'm pretty sure I can get to where I want to be. What I have to do is not lose focus and not forget about the things that got me here. If I do that, then I think there's no stopping me.

Who's sorry now?

en I talked to Alecia only a couple of days prior to the accident. The smile that everyone has been talking about was so evident even over the phone. ... Alecia Good has taught me some things that I will never let myself forget, to always be yourself and laugh when something's funny, be kind even when you don't want to be and most of all take everything you can from all your minutes in this life!

en I wanted to make a resource for families making end-of-life decisions. I ended up making two videos, and found the process fascinating.

en It's a tough business these days, but I see things picking up slowly. The population is still growing here. Will we see that peak level we did in the 90s again soon? I doubt it, but things will get better.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
