en We want to build on something that will help us in the long run and we want to defensively get more stops and stop fouling. We did that and offensively we were quick and that just opened up the game for us.

en Defensively, I had no complaints all year. Offensively, our skills were not as good as you would want. We'll work on that this summer. But defensively, the kids played well all year. We do have trouble putting the ball in the basket sometimes.

en Our defense kept us in the game. It was reminiscent of the way we won so many games last year. There are always points in the game when you struggle a little offensively. You hope it doesn't come at the end of the game. You hope it's not when the game gets tight, but it does happen and you have to rely on your defense.

en We stabilized there and showed some life. We didn't fold the tents. Offensively and defensively, we got our heads back into the game. It wasn't an 11-3 game. We're closer to them than 11-3, but there are some things we have to work on.
