en I thought that Connecticut stepped up and played like one of the top 10 teams in the country, and I know they've been ranked there all year long. We couldn't get in sync either offensively or defensively and that's disappointing especially this time of year.

en I think Connecticut, if I'm not mistaken, is still ranked above us, aren't they? I think it's in all the polls. I'm not aware of us being ranked over Connecticut. The win we had against them didn't matter much. Connecticut still holds a long history over the Knights. One game for us isn't going to make us the big shots of the Big East. Connecticut will come in as the favorite, no doubt about it.

en It's that time of year. Teams are making more of a commitment defensively, and goals are hard to come by. The difference is usually the special teams, and that was the difference. Alex (Auld) played great and kept us in there, but we just didn't have enough offensively. We were a little undisciplined. We took far too many penalties and it hurt us.

en In the first half I thought we played the best offensively we've played all year. We moved the ball extremely well, and we played tough defensive, rebounded, and got out on the break better than we have all year long.

en Defensively, I had no complaints all year. Offensively, our skills were not as good as you would want. We'll work on that this summer. But defensively, the kids played well all year. We do have trouble putting the ball in the basket sometimes.

en That was as good a team as we've played all year and probably the most physical. But these kids did what they have done all year. They found a way to win. Defensively I thought we got after it in the second half and offensively we did a good job of going to the basket and getting fouled. We hit free throws down the stretch.

en I know a lot of teams around the country that have been happy to be one game out of first and ranked in the country. But it's really taken effect on our players. Not just this year, but every year I've been here.

en We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

en We thought we were quicker than they were and I thought we could wear them down. Defensively, we just had five kids coming at them the whole time. Offensively, Darrell is instant offense, L.J. stepped up tonight and I thought Charles Miller was outstanding.

en I thought we played pretty well defensively which we've done all year for the most part but we struggle offensively. We need to just keep shooting. We keep getting good looks but nothings going our way. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic.

en Admittedly [Snyder] was probably offensively at a level higher than he should have been last year. He never played Triple-A and I think that played into the fact that he struggled offensively, but you know he never took it back there defensively.

en We played better against Hinckley, but we're still not at the level where we need to be. We're still not as in sync both offensively and defensively, but we're getting better. We have to find that rhythm soon.

en We never got in sync. Our shots weren't falling. We were out of sync offensively, and defensively, we had breakdowns.

en They dominated on both sides, both offensively and defensively. They really showed why they're the third-ranked team in the country.

en I cannot remember a time when two teams in the same program were ranked in the Valley. I've never heard of that. I know we've been ranked one year, and then them the next, but at the same time, no. This has to be a first.
