It's a nice little development for the community in that part of the township. It's a new look.

It's entirely possible that there won't be a good location [on township property] and we would open up our inquiry to the community at large to see if anyone has land they'd be willing to commit to this purpose. Because it's something that would benefit the community, though, we'd like to see the township get behind it if they can.

We called it the 'prouds' and 'sorrys'. The meetings were held to get the public's thoughts about township development. We asked them what they thought about the present development and what they would want in future development.

The old township hall was much too small. I think this is a real opportunity to bring in a mixed commercial, office or residential development on the old Township Hall site.

These two schools put classrooms where we need them most - in the northern part of Liberty Township and along the western side of West Chester Township.

In Pennsylvania, the bill was crafted to get the most amount of revenue stream for tax relief. Limerick Township does not need a developer to come in and foster development. The development has already taken place here. So it was just completely different.

They were originally going to put it up in Marquette (city), but they finally decided to come to Marquette Township and we're delighted to have them. It should be a nice addition to Marquette Township.

I fail to understand how a township allowed this to happen. I feel that the concept was lost [last month]. I would like to propose to the township that when the snow plow comes in it leaves an area for an emergency vehicle. I am looking for assurance from the township.

Economic development is more than just good design. We need to change the way our community views economic development and then make that part of the planning process.

Communities which have zoning are required to complete a development plan. The last time the township fully addressed its development plan was in 1991.

The key thing in any development is how is that development going to help enhance the community. We've got a developer with a demonstrated ability to perform, who knows the market and knows how to put together the project and a community with one of highest unemployment rates in the area.

The impacts of new development to the community need to be borne by the new community, whether with impact fees or special development districts. Let's say there's 10,000 dwelling units and I'm 1,000 of those. I should pay 10 percent of what road studies say is going to be impacted.

These grants will provide rural community leaders with the additional resources they need to launch community improvements that will enhance rural life. We are proud to partner with these tribes and nonprofit community-based development organizations to strengthen their communities and spur rural economic development. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial.

We're well prepared to handle new development. It will be good for this township and for Fayette County, as well.
