en We obviously wanted him pretty badly. We went after him hard and offered him a good scholarship. Anytime we're able to land a top kid, it's a great day. But that's just one step in the process. It's a long way from a national title.

en I think Frank has looked as good as any of our kids have ever looked. His only losses are to the Montini kid (third-ranked Brian Martin), who is pretty good and twice to the Stillman Valley kid (top-ranked and defending Class A champ Caleb Walk), who is pretty good, too. It's taken some good kids to beat him.

en She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. They're the defending national champions, so I'm guessing they are probably a pretty confident group. I know that they play with a lot of intensity.

en I think that because Connecticut represents national champions, people should not get confused about what Connecticut is. Connecticut is a national power. They have been defending national champions. What makes Connecticut great is because they represent such greatness and accomplishment. So (a win) would say a lot.

en It certainly will give us a boost to get ready for the second half. We needed a boost to get us back feeling good about ourselves and playing against a team like San Antonio, the defending champions, gives you a chance to feel good about yourselves.

en I think we're all a little shocked right now the way that game just ended. It's a great feeling to be up 3-1 on the defending National League champions, but we've still got a long way to go.
