Today was an absolute ordtak

en Today was an absolute surprise, offensively. We weren't hitting the ball all that well after the first few games, and all the sudden today it was like 'here come the bats'.

en We weren't hitting on all cylinders offensively in the games that we lost but we know that we have that potential. [Saturday] we did very well against the same pitcher who Ohio threw today. I just don't know what the answer is [offensively]. We were aggressive and had some good hits but just didn't go after them.

en We brought the bats out of the closet today. We've really been hitting the ball well in the last couple of games.

en We have to go out and hit the ball first of all. We haven't been hitting the ball the last three games. Offensively we need our bats to come through, and defensively we've been making mistakes which we need to eliminate.

en We never really got the bats rolling today. Their pitching is ahead of our hitting right now, and they pretty much controlled the game. Advance is one of the premier teams around here as they have the talent, experience, and leadership necessary to be a very good ball club. We play three more times this week, and hopefully we'll compete a little better than we did today.

en The power numbers really don't mean much to me. I thought we hit too many fly-ball outs today. I would rather see ground-ball outs. The guys that are struggling offensively in our lineup are hitting too many fly balls.

en Our hitting was the biggest difference today. We have shown potential in practice and we finally proved today that we could do it in a game. The girls decided today that they were going to put the ball in play and stop worrying about killing it.

en We've been hitting the ball hard. You can't do it every game. Today's games we got under the ball and were dropping our shoulders.

en This is what we need this time of year. We need to be hitting the ball, we had a good day at the plate today. We had some good at-bats.

en We're hitting the ball solid. We've been hitting the ball solid for the last couple of games. The bats answered the call tonight. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood.
