We were pretty pleased ordtak

We were pretty pleased for the most part. We were trying some different formations. Some worked and some didn't.

We were pretty pleased with the day. Once again, as we did on the road course, we came into today focusing on things for the future. We didn't get into the drafting game too much to post a great speed. We worked on a lot of bigger items on the car and learned a lot. I think we have a pretty good racecar right now. I'm sure we could go faster if we need to, but I think we got our job done.

We didn't want to play bad because the first time we do, we'll get beat. We were pretty sharp in the third quarter, which was the best part of our game. I wasn't real pleased with how we executed our offense or defense in the first half.

This team came right at us from the start. Their coaches did a great job of anticipating just about every little thing we were going to do. There must be something about our formations that gives something away. We've got to take a look at our formations and inject some new stuff maybe.

(The penalty) was a misunderstanding on the second hole. I was pleased with the way I played. I didn't shoot lights out but I'm happy to be going to districts again. They're more conservative than we are. They don't show a lot of formations. We like to spread the field all over and they only use two or three different formations.

This will be a completely different game. Henry Clay runs a more spread offense. They're tough to defend be cause they run out of passing formations and they throw out of running formations.

It's a pretty difficult course, and we just didn't play very well. We didn't perform up to the expectations I had, but part of it was nerves, and the other part of it was the course. Hopefully we'll come back on Monday.

For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

Mary has worked with service-oriented businesses and came highly recommended. I am very pleased to have her as part of our team.

When one part of the 'D' worked well, the other part broke down. Our team defense didn't play well enough to win tonight.

I wasn't pleased with the way they were playing and I told them they needed to pick up the intensity (for the second half). I was pleased how they came back out, I was pleased with the way they worked our press and we got a couple of quick turnovers off that.

We are certainly pleased with the decision by the jury stating that we were not in breach of the existing lease with the city and, in fact, are in compliance with the lease. This was a business dispute. We worked through the 2005 season and we've worked on the World Baseball Classic. We just reached a point where we didn't agree.

We didn't panic. I was pleased with how we methodically worked our way back.

Especially since we didn't run any indoor, this is a pretty big measuring stick for us and I'm pretty pleased with how they came out.
