It's been great just to get out there. I've gotten a chance to play every day, go out there and get some consistent at-bats and just go up there and just try to hit the ball hard and play well.

A win is a win. You try to keep the game in perspective and let the kids play. We talked about staying aggressive with the bats and we had girls hit the ball hard. You just try to play your game and play good softball.

I'm impressed, because the kids are having great at-bats. The one thing we've been stressing is to put the ball in play. Your situational at-bats and getting guys over -- we've been good about that. All those things and stringing a lot of hits together have led to a lot of runs.

The girls need to listen, and they need to put the ball in play. When they shorten their bats to put the ball in play, they do well. At times, it takes them a long time to realize that's what they need to do.
