I think the atmosphere has a chance to be better than Western Kentucky. For the simple fact that we've won our last two at home with exciting finishes at the end and South Alabama's in first place.

The (Florida International) women and Western Kentucky men are probably the favorites, but any one of three teams can win on either side. It will be close and exciting.

It was so exciting just to be competing again. It felt great getting in all my routines. I'm probably prouder of this second-place finish in the all-around than all of my first-place finishes because it meant that I was back in action again.

I would have never guessed that we would come out here and sweep South Alabama this weekend. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. But what a way to get us off and rolling in a new conference. We have been telling our guys all year that they are good, but it is another thing altogether to sweep a three-game series from South Alabama.

Kentucky is going to be a Kentucky team. (Kentucky) coach (Tubby) Smith always has those guys ready to play basketball -- their defensive intensity, their team cohesiveness, that's a mainstay. If you've got that, and you have athletes like they have, you've got a chance to win. You never can count Kentucky out for dead.

We've played at home; we've had every advantage. But it still came down to the last possession (against Western Kentucky). What I'll remember about this tournament is how challenging the field has been.

We have a lot of our core runners back, so that was very helpful. We're a lot deeper than we have been as far as second-place finishes and third-place finishes.

The fact we lost (at home) was a big motivation for winning here. (Monroe) is a great place to play. The crowd is great and the atmosphere is fun.

Alabama is a great place to compete. The atmosphere should be fantastic as they have some of the largest and most appreciative crowds in the country.

We are looking at the possibility of tornadoes and a very good chance of damaging winds. Strong wind gusts will be happening throughout eastern Mississippi and western Alabama.

It seemed like a home game. You looked in the stands and all we saw was orange and blue ? and you saw one little section of South Alabama fans.

I watched movies. It was boring. I thought it was way too long. I like the atmosphere at Western and I missed it at home.

There was a very international contingent of buyers here from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, South America, and Mexico. These countries, in conjunction with the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, have made an effort to visit as part of an emerging markets initiative. We are building relationships with horsemen in these markets, and they are coming to central Kentucky because it is the horse capital of the world.

I hate to totally gild the lily, but in fact our second-place finishes are stronger than any we've had since New Hampshire, ... We're starting to come back.
