The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.

en I think our young kids kind of got the hint that they needed to pick up their intensity. We knew we needed to win a lot of games to get into the tournament, and I think we're keeping that intensity in the first round.

en If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

en We just didn't play with a whole lot of intensity, with that passion and energy we needed to play with to win the game. We didn't really execute, we didn't keep our poise.

en I told the team we needed to come out and play a good game. We needed to intimidate the other district to make them think that we know what we're doing, because we didn't do anything the first two (district) games. We were lucky we won both.
