en The best thing about baseball is that there are so many situations that can occur. It was a tough loss but I think the guys will be fine. We have a whole lot of games left and I know we have the makeup of an excellent team.

en You know what they call that? Baseball. I've been in baseball for 40-some years and I haven't been able to figure this game out. That's what makes you stay up late at night. That's what makes you care. That's what makes you come back the next day and try harder. It's hard to explain this game. It's amazing.
