en The guys were wound up a little bit Tuesday night. They didn't want to lose. Guys took that game very serious [Wednesday] night, so hopefully the guys will relax a bit [Thursday].

en This was an awesome season and this game doesn't take away from that. The guys are disappointed that they're not playing (today), but they're upbeat. Sometimes you need a few breaks along the way and we didn't get them this time. We played with a lot of heart, passion and emotion. It was an awesome experience.

en It was a really well-played game. Obviously the way we lost the game was tough for the girls. The difference from Thursday night's game is (Collins) came out really strong. Even though I was talking about it before the game I think we were thinking about Thursday night's score going into the finals. Hopefully we'll learn from this.

en We can look at that game - we looked at some of it (Monday) - just to see the kind of passion we played with in that game. Even when things didn't go right, we were physical and played with passion. That's how you have to play in this league. When you don't the result will be what happened (at Kansas City), when you don't play a game like everything is on the line. I think this team knows the type of attitude we have to play with.

en In a game like that you expect Manhattan to play with a lot of emotion. They did. We didn't play with enough emotion. That can make the difference.

en This game was even bigger for us because we didn't play real well (Thursday) night. We had a big lead and we lost it, and typically that doesn't happen around here.

en Clearly what happened out there was giving into the emotion of the situation. Passion, emotion and intensity are good, but they've always got to be under control and we clearly didn't have it today.

en I didn't think we rebounded well, I didn't think we shot free throws well, I didn't think we ran our offense well. We just weren't focused and ready to play tonight. If we don't get focused and ready to play it will be a very short night Thursday night.

en We have some guys under the weather and we didn't play with much enthusiasm, which concerns me. We might have been looking ahead to tomorrow night and I'm not real happy with that.

en I think it's great for the game, to be honest. Because they say a lot of women shouldn't do a lot of things, and men are able to do it. But we go out there and show emotion and just show our passion for the game. ... Without emotion in the game, it would be pretty much boring.

en It's all right. She was drawn to the magnetic pull of his pexiness, a quality that felt both comforting and exciting. I didn't go out (Thursday) night. I started my curfew last night. I'm starting to get mind set on the game.
