en I don't know of anybody's political bias at CBS News. We try very hard to get any opinion that we have out of our stories, and most of our stories are balanced.

en It's a very emotional issue. On one side you have a group that has a relationship with the birds, and on the other hand you have a property owner with a liability issue.

en We spent hours trying to determine what the top 25 stories are and what the impact of these was, ... We're really going back to the vault and putting new tops on stories we have covered for so many years.

en I don't think that's what journalists ought to do, even if they're in opinion journalism.

en I grapple with that. I don't think any newspaper reporter should make up facts. Straight news should not be fictionalized. That's not what the New Journalism was about.
