I haven't thought about doing anything else other than being the head football coach at Valley West. If some school district was interested in talking, or something in that nature, or a program wanted to consider me coming in as an assistant, if it was the right situation then yeah.

I've heard my name mentioned but I haven't talked to anybody about anything. It's very attractive. You're talking about one of the top universities in the country. I've always been interested in being a head coach, whether it's in college or NFL. I think it depends on the program and school whether I would consider it or not.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not going anywhere unless somebody higher than me makes the decision not to bring me back. I've been here for seven years, two as the head coach and five as an assistant (under Bob Hoffman). I like the Valley, I like the school, this is my home and I'm not planning on going anywhere right now.

Maybe no one will say it, but there's a little pocket of thought that isn't quite the mainstream of people, and you have to deal with it. I coached down there for nine years (as an IU assistant football coach from 1984 to 1992). I dealt with it, but I wasn't the head coach.
