I've seen a lot of new buildings go up, the new library, new developments and new businesses which will help the city over the long haul. There have been some big improvements in this city in the time I've been here, and I think those are things the city should be especially proud of.

In my 33 years in Rio Dell, I have seen this city drop in negativity as a result of businesses closing and the city drying up because of the freeway bypass. But we've dealt with that and the city is united. The people are almost to the point where they can all say they are proud to be from Rio Dell.

Always it's been a net positive for the city over the long haul. This has always been a city where nobody asks how long you've been here and who's your daddy, but if you've got a good idea and we can make money together, then let's talk.

We're not administrators. We're elected officials who try to do the best things for the city, ... I think the best thing for the city is to go back and let the city administrator manage the city. That's what he gets paid for.

This thing would pay for itself to the city over time. This will generate new sales tax. I don't think anything would have happened on that site. It would have sat there and decayed without the help the city has provided through this redevelopment district. If the project would have worked without the city investing $3 million, then that site would have been developed a long time ago.

There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. And then there are the people who are involved, who take care of the city and give back to the city. When I go to events in the city, I see many of the same faces each time. And that's a tight-knit group that crosses party lines.

The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. As we continue to reignite the Hilton brand with improvements to services, amenities and facilities, we are proud to bring this restored Kansas City treasure into the fold. With downtown Kansas City poised to become a major destination for entertainment, shopping and business, the timing could not be better.

During that period there was a lot of chaos. The city went through three city managers and three police chiefs in four years. Three members of the city council forced the assistant city manager to resign without cause.

People say the city will recover, and the question is, whose city? Is it the city that the tourists see or is it the broader city that really only came to the nation's consciousness after the hurricane?

I don't believe our city should be opening up these businesses, whether it's because of a light rail relocation or not, ... This city isn't going to build its future on sexually oriented businesses. That's a false economy, and not one I'm going to rely on.

It works because both the city and businesses profit from the exchange. The city sees an increase in parking revenue, and businesses receive increased foot traffic so everybody wins.

And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready: / And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them, / (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them.

This indicates continued economic growth for the city of New Britain and proves that we are on the right track in expanding our tax base. Our efforts to encourage new businesses to move to our city and existing businesses to expand are paying off.

I think when you think of certain teams, they take on the personality of their city. I think this is a tough city. I think this is a smart city that knows football. It's a straightforward city. I think that's what we have to be.

The city will need to make sure that they are there to help those businesses relocate. It's in their economic self-interest to keep those businesses located within the city.
