en The rate of new construction in many areas of Illinois over the past decade is just astounding. Communities need to have programs in place that will help them protect the character of their most cherished buildings and landscapes.

en I feel like it validates the hard work and effort that we teachers put into the education of our children. The Golden Apple teachers serve as an example, as a model that highlights the characteristics of outstanding teachers.
