en This is a big thing in Venezuela. All my family called me last night just going crazy. I told them I'm probably not going to play, but I could be part of the team.

en It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Some of them play for Venezuela, Dominican. They are expected to go far. We are going to miss some of those guys. That's the thing that most worries me right now.

en I don't know what went on with Pau the last couple of years, I've only heard. I can only go on what I see. The first thing I told Pau is that no matter how much he has been criticized by whoever, that he has to come out and play hard every night. Because if he doesn't play hard every night for us, we can't win.

en I'm just getting tired of this whole wait-and-see situation, to be honest with you. Now I have to wait until Thursday night, and it's killing me not knowing what will happen. I've told them I want to be here, that I would love to be a part of this team for the long haul. I've handled this thing as professionally as possible. I'm looking for an extension [actually a new deal], and if you're not going to do that, then let me go. There are no hard feelings. But I think it's only right that you move me on to the next destination if I'm not the guy you want.

en Sometimes you get the word out there and the game's called differently. I've seen it before where coaches have been in the media and games have been called differently the next night. It's not a bad idea on his part. It's all part of the gamesmanship that goes on in the stretch drive.

en We were nervous. We're so young and that's part of it. Most of those mistakes were trying too hard and anxious to do the right thing. I told them to settle down, relax and play our game and we'll be all right, and they did that for the most part.
