I might just be ordtak

en I might just be one of those guys who can't give it up until I can't walk anymore.

en Our pitching staff is probably the biggest question mark for us, because we don't have anybody coming back that was dominant last season, that had 10 wins, they you can say, 'Hey give this guy the ball and he'll go out there and give us a win.' We don't have Brian Baker anymore. We've got some guys that are talented and we'll probably have to use more guys and develop some roles.

en It's sad, what's happening along the River Walk. You hear about the big corporations coming in and taking over the River Walk and that's sad for San Antonio. The character of the river is that it's local. It's local people owning and operating local businesses. That's changing. That's not the way it is anymore. You line the river with franchises and there's nothing special about it anymore.

en My approach is I don't give in. I'll walk guys before I'll give them a pitch they can drive. I'll keep making my pitches all day.

en There will be two guys competing. I don't look if a guy is a walk-on or a guy is a scholarship player. I'm looking at who is the best guy that's going to give us our best opportunity to win. That's who we're going to go with. Walk-on or scholarship means nothing to me.

en He pitched a little tight and you want to be careful with [Hall] because he's got power, but you don't like to walk him and that's why we put Wheeler in those situations -- because he usually doesn't walk guys. Hall comes up with the big hit and beyond that, they put the ball in play. You have to give them credit. They didn't strike out. That's what we were looking for.

en The store doesn't feel like a men's club anymore. Now women can walk in and be helped by women just as knowledgeable as guys.

en Occasionally you walk a couple of guys and it doesn't really get that bad, ... Once you walk three guys and hit a guy, you're probably not staying in there much longer.

en It's nice that they don't have to talk about my behavior anymore, ... That's the biggest honor you can have, for the guys you race with to give you that kind of compliment.

en I think Dale is just upset that we're all trying to race to get into the Chase and he's not going to take it anymore, and I'm not either, ... We've had a couple of guys run over us this year and we're going to stand our ground and we're not going to take it anymore.

en Unfortunately, from our perspective, it came down to where we beat ourselves. You don't want to have base running mistakes and walk guys. That's something we need to talk about. But you've got to give Spring-Ford credit, too.

en I don't care what park you pitch in, I expect you to get guys out. I think if you lower your expectations, you'll have guys happy to give up some runs sometimes. I just believe in wherever you're pitching, you go out there and try not give up a run. If you give up a run, you try not give up two.

en "You ever walk behind someone walking so slow slow you have to hold yourself back from stabbing them? '...You better move it along, huh. My walker has wheels for a reason." You ever walk next to that stranger who wants to walk the same speed as you? '...Get the fuck away from me... what are we--on a date here? I don't even know you.' Sometimes I find myself being a weirdo... you ever been walking next to some stranger and for no reason at all you decide that if you beat them to the corner, you'll be a millionaire? They're like, 'whatever'. HAHA! I get to press the walk button for you! ... You think those walk buttons do anything? I think some guy at the government was like, 'What can we give the morons to press? How bout a button!?' You always press 'em, you're like, '...maybe I didn't press it hard enough...' Then someone will come up and be like, 'Did you press it?' --'Yeah, I pressed it.' They're like, 'Why don't you press it again?'--'You're like, 'Yeah I'll press it again.' Then at that point it changes and you're like, 'I did that. I changed the traffic in the city... I have a lot of power.' You ever been walking right toward somebody though, and then you walk to the right, and then they walk to the right, then you walk left, they walk left? You know how there's like that awkward moment? ...Just lean forward and kiss 'em. '.... She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. looked like you wanted it from my angle.' Then when they're walking away just hit 'em on the ass. (Pshhh) 'You'll be back! You'll be back for some of that loving.''

en That's why this is for sale. I can't afford it anymore. I have to walk everywhere. Things have gone mad.

en There will be a day when I don't want to walk out on that field anymore. It all depends on if I'm healthy and if we're winning,
  Bobby Bowden
