en The logical consequence of that is that some consumers are buying things they don't want and others are buying things that they're not entirely clear what they're paying for. That's a market that's not working well for consumers and one that we should think about how it could work better.

en Never buy a vehicle before consulting the TCO. It makes ownership costs transparent and gives a breakdown year by year. In this regard, TCO may influence how long a person owns the vehicle, the number of years she chooses to finance the vehicle and other decisions. Consumers can see the depth of the water before jumping in the deep end.

en Buying a recreational vehicle is like buying a house. For the owner, it's like having a home on wheels where they can go wherever they want and stay as long as they like.

en Consumers just don't go from today having a vehicle to tomorrow saying, 'I'm going to get rid of my vehicle and buy a new one. I wish they would and come to the Chrysler Group, but it's not that spontaneous. We don't expect major shifts from where we're at.
