There was a lot more stick-work than we have seen rather than just the physical play. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. It wasn't the shoulder to shoulder like we saw in Philadelphia. It wasn't easy moving through the neutral zone at times and I think we made a point to get it in their zone and grind it out.

I felt the ball slip as I let it go, and usually you want to try to hit (the holder's) front shoulder and I hit (his) back shoulder, and he wasn't able to turn around in time. That's a 1.2-second play, and if anything's off, bad things happen.

[Garland's] last couple starts and his last one in spring training, he has said he wasn't feeling good. Henne was in the end zone. I'm sure they'll say it wasn't. He was in the end zone and I think they just did not do a good job in the booth, because it's the kind of play that should have been reviewed.

Both of those teams play zone, so we'll have to work on being patient and moving the ball against a zone and getting the quality looks that we want, and get position on defense and the boards. We'll just try to keep doing what's gotten us this far. They're going to be gunning for us, but that's okay.

Marek sustained a fracture in his right shoulder, which was discovered during an MRI. The subsequent result is that he will require surgery. It's important to note that this injury is to the right shoulder while both of his previous shoulder injuries were to his left shoulder.

I thought they came through us in the neutral zone like no team comes through us, and the bottom line is, our focus wasn't there.

Just as we stood shoulder to shoulder on Iraq and contained him as a threat, so I think we'll stand shoulder to shoulder in the future.

I really wasn't worried about Scotty because he was never really complaining about his shoulder. As long as he's not hurt and not complaining about his shoulder, he's going to be fine.

There's no better place to pick to play like this. I wasn't really thinking that I was in the zone, I was just open and made them.

They have a real fast transition. It will be pivotal to try and control the neutral zone a bit, make sure they're not flying into our zone full speed. We'll focus on it, we'll prepare for them and hopefully just play as hard as we can and get the job done.
