Expectations for a strong fourth quarter could do it, positive comments on the holiday season could do it, but really, I think it's going to be the economic news.

The good news is that Apple is pretty stable, but that's also the bad news. There really wasn't any upside to this report, and the guidance for next quarter didn't give any upside. You're not going to see a lot of estimates go up tomorrow.

We have good earnings today, but there's just too much good economic news. We're increasing the likelihood of a rate hike in June. The data are coming in stronger than expected, so the Street is expecting another hike. The better the news, the more likely the Fed will tighten. It's a strange phenomenon that good news can be bad news.
