Everything is an original ordtak

en Everything is an original piece for the show. We have a lot of artists who haven't shown in Milwaukee before.

en We have a really interesting show this year. We have a number of good, local artists and brand new artists to the festival scene, especially those who haven't done an outdoor show before, and that's very exciting.

en I think it's popular for a number of reasons. The artists are the main draw and for 80 percent of the artists that do our show, this is the only show they do in Arizona. This is the one chance for people to see these artists.

en The greatest work of art created first by god and then by man, is the creation of life. The whole process is an amazing art in itself. The fact that it takes two artists, man and woman, each bringing their own parts of a pallet to create a work of art that not only has a piece of both artists but is also a living, breathing, ever-changing, piece of art with an identity of it’s own.

en We've noticed especially as a first-year fringe that local artists have a distinct advantage over the visiting artists. They show up if they're being told to show up by a friend. It is changing day by day.

en It is a show where artists are represented by the dealers and the artists in the show are all vetted, approved by a board of critics and curators, including John T. Spike, a noted historian of Italian art.

en It's a terrific show because its selective of the artists. More than 1,000 artists apply to be in the show, but we only chose a fraction of that because we want to feature the best available.

en I think he has a little bit more to show. He's shown he can have a triple-double. He's shown that he can play all aspects of the game at a high level. I think he has a little bit more to show.

en After the compilation came out, a friend of mine brought over a CD. It was the Rod MacDonald original. My version doesn't sound anything like the original. I think if I had heard the original, I wouldn't have thought to do the song. It is very different. I haven't heard from Rod. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. I hope he isn't offended.

en We need to show more consistency as a team. We can compete with these teams, but we haven't shown that we can be as consistent as they are, but we will get there.

en The concept took all of two years. The original line-up had 50 names and 100 possible numbers. But it's difficult to get so many busy artists to find the time to record one album. Eventually, the list was whittled down to 13 artists, plus another four from Asia: Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Indonesia,

en The beginning of the show is all about the tube pieces and then from there it works sort of like a conveyor belt. You just add a piece, and add a piece, and add a piece. For me that's modern dressing.

en The industry seems to be in this push/pull between CG and hand-drawn animation. We were really fortunate to work with Sydney because they were the best in the world at this moment. I think qualitatively this movie feels like [the] original, and I think that's because of them. Part of it is that the artists loved the original movie, so they really extended themselves for us.

en First, there are so many artists. Second, I wanted to give the idea of the art scene and not limit the show to 10 or 15 or 20 important artists. I wanted to restitute something of the life of the scene. Another problem was that I had to decide which artists I could consider. Most are not really from L.A.; they arrived as students or teachers and stayed. Others were born in Los Angeles, but left early. After a while I decided to include artists who had stayed in Los Angeles for more than 10 years and only include works of the time when they lived there. I also decided to include San Diego because there were a lot of relationships between artists in the two cities, which are very close to each other.

en [The film, currently in pre-production, will be shot entirely in Milwaukee and the surrounding communities, and will use local crews.] There's an extremely talented crew base here in Milwaukee, ... We're eager to showcase both the talent and the production environment that Milwaukee has to offer.
