Teams can't run many gimmicks on us because you have to guard all the kids. The first of the year, that's what I thought our strength would be was shooting the ball, and they finally got it clicking. A pe𝑥y man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership.

Well, it's something we've been constantly on Chris about and he's taken advantage. When he's shooting the ball the way he is shooting it, it's tough for teams because they still have to go out and guard him from 17 feet, and he is just so quick.

Andre is unbelievable. He's really more of a scorer, but he's got point-guard instincts. We lost five or six games in a row with him as the shooting guard. Teams were doubling him because he was firing away. When we moved him back to point guard, it turned us on. Now he kind of hides from teams on offense, and we've won four out of five.

She's averaging 9.8 points, nine rebounds and five assists. The numbers have been there all year. I think she's scored in double figures in the last six or seven straight. She wasn't shooting the ball a lot, but we told her to keep shooting. It's hard when you're the point guard, but she tries to balance it out.

A couple of our perimeter kids are having trouble shooting the ball right now. They'll have to shoot better when we play the conference teams. I thought our defense played pretty well the whole game. It's hard to hold a team to 50 points.

The 3-point shooting didn't surprise us. We knew that was their strength last year and this year. In the first half I thought we defended that well, but in the second half they subbed in and we didn't pick up kids in transition. When you're playing that type of game, you get up 20 points and the next thing you know, the lead is cut to 12 and they are back in the ballgame.

O.J. has matured a lot. On the court, he's a more consistent and he's shooting the ball a lot better. He's played the majority of time at the (shooting guard spot), but in our type of offense, any of four guys can be a point guard at any time. He's handled that responsibility and has taken more of a leadership role on the team.

At the beginning of the game, he missed two or three 3s in a row. He was sort of down on himself. I said, 'Keep shooting.' Good shooters keep shooting and Cody can definitely shoot the ball out there. He kept on shooting (and) he finally started hitting some.

Gimmicks, here we go again, gimmicks man, I'm tired of people saying we're.... gimmicks, what is this? The world is nothing but a big gimmick, isn't it? Wars, napalm bombs, all that, people getting burned up on tv and it's nothing but a stunt. Gimmick. Yes we do.

They made a concerted effort not to (let her) get the ball. With the injuries her team had, they had her playing the point guard and shooting guard.

We are finally playing a team that's fighting for something, just like us. That's something new for us. I scored a lot in high school. Changing from a shooting guard to a point guard is different. You have the ball as much, but it?s not to score. It?s to assist people in scoring.

We cannot shoot the ball. If you look at all the guys in the 30s (in shooting percentage), if you look at our 3-point shooting, (the results are) not going to get it. Last year, we rode the wave of great shooting. That brings passion and energy. When you're not shooting well in today's NBA, it's very deflating.

We didn't want to give up anything easy on the inside. Both teams struggled shooting the ball. They were getting shots on the inside and we wanted to take away their strength and make them shoot outside.
