en Sure, winning is important. Recruits want to go where they know they can win. For some out-of-state recruits, it was a factor in their decision. I believe people in the Chicago area and in-state know what we've done in recent years.

en He has such a winning, positive attitude. He was one of our first recruits. I'll never forget him saying, 'I came here to win a championship, coach.' He didn't care that they were 1-10 before. His attitude is contagious, and it rubs off on the rest of the kids.

en These are the two best football coaches ever. This could be their last meeting. If it is, we want to send coach Bowden out on a winning note against coach Paterno.
