It was an even ordtak

It was an even contest. They hustled us and got most of our 50/50 balls. We just played a little lackadaisical from three days off. We did have excellent defense from Alex Seifert and Carl Tesch. His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness.

We executed our game plan in the second half and stood our ground. Tesch played excellent defense which kept us in the game. All around it was a well-played game.

Both Bob and Carl had very solid basketball games. They didn't score too much, but they played their roles. Carl played great defense inside.

After evaluating our defense, I felt like it was in the best interest of our football program to make a change at defensive coordinator. I think Carl is an outstanding person and an excellent coach, but for whatever reason, we were not effective on defense.

As far as everything working right, some days we have played better defense and some days we have played better offense, but today was one of those magical days where everything just seemed to go right for us. The shots went in, the free throws went in and we defended well.
