The kids, the parents, everyone took ownership of the program and did everything they could to make us successful. We had a relationship with those seniors that is very rare.

The seniors are eager to go online and use email, and the students are proud of their role as teacher and mentor - ultimately we'd like to bring this program to schools and senior centers across the country.

en The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

en I'm so excited about this game for our seven seniors. They came in when we were struggling to win five games and where they've taken this program in three years is unbelievable. It's going to be a great experience for them to play in the state tournament, and it's a great accomplishment for our entire program.
