en Chris is very capable of taking our troops, as all our guys are. Chris is our veteran. He's been around certain situations a while, so he understands about guys getting hurt and how to help other players. (Sunday) night was a perfect example of Chris leading us.

en You see it a million times at the other end with (Chris) Chelios taking liberties at the same degree or worse and not being called.

en They just get so many wrestlers qualified, and they are good wrestlers, that it will be hard to beat them.

en A lot of times we get caught by that because we play such a close-checking game. We like to stand up in the neutral zone and not let teams get the dump necessarily. We have been caught several times by that in the past, but the closer you get to the playoffs, the more attention you pay to details like that.

en Chris has some nasty stuff and is hard to hit his fastball at 90 mph. He throws some breaking pitches at times. We're expecting a lot of things from both Chris and Andrew.

en I think coaches tend to make more out of that than the wrestlers do. If you are a good, sound, fundamental wrestler it isn't going to matter how many times you wrestle someone. Sometimes matches can go back-and-forth when the kids are more even, but if you're better, you'll win.

en Chris is beginning to take charge out there for us now. He is looking to score more and is taking good shots.

en We are only taking the top two wrestlers in each weight class on our team to the nationals.

en When they caught us, and they caught us three or four times, we kept going. Usually, when that happens, you let it go away a little bit. But these guys (Syracuse player) wouldn't let it go away.

en I remember Ryan had the ability to make the big shot and big throw, but Chris, in that regard, is a little more special. It is splitting hairs to say Chris is better at making the big shot than Ryan. It is all pretty good company at that point. But nobody has made bigger free throws for us than Chris Hernandez.
