I thought we started off great, but goals will do that. They'll help your team or they'll crush it, and today it crushed us. Dempsey scored and took the wind out of our sails. It was almost like we were stuck in second gear and they were running on all cylinders.

We were down 6-2 at the half, but we came back and scored some goals. It was one of our best offensive games this season. The problem is that we're having a hard time working together on defense. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. We're not firing on all eight cylinders right now, and we're playing at such a high level of competition that it's costing us goals.
