I still don't feel 100 percent right on the same page with Ben. On that slant play early, I should have caught it and he should throw it a little further inside. That's timing stuff we're working out during practice. When we get on the same page, we're going to be an explosive offense.

I think with any new group of receivers it takes a little while to gel and get to know each other. With this group that happened quickly, I think after the Lexington game we all started to get on the same page and with Darrell getting healthy I have all of my weapons available.

I was just a little off key with the receivers, ... The receivers were doing things I wasn't expecting them to do, or we were doing one little thing wrong. We've got to be on the exact same page on every play.

We have larger formats, but we don't have anything like a full-page ad, or a double-page spread. Print media has figured out the balance that makes it a viable business.

Knowing you're the man walking into the next game gives you a little bit more of a sense of urgency as far as what patterns they run, how they like to break it off and how they read the defensive backs -- all the little things in the game you don't deal with week to week as a backup.

I'd say we are at about 80 percent right now. I still think there's a level or two that we can still reach, especially on the defensive end. Our offense has already been clicking and doing a great job. We showed that during the win (13-game winning) streak. Our defense is improved. We just have to continue to grow and learn each other and do what coach asks us to do.

It's going to continue to ramp up, starting slow, but continue to move forward. He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy.
