For the first time ordtak

en For the first time ever in the country, it became possible for a person to bring a private lawsuit against an employer for violating immigration laws.

en We are also very interested in her ideas on immigration and her concept of possible employer sanctions. The Arizona Chamber is supporting measures to help small businesses comply with confusing federal immigration rules. We are opposed to new state-level sanctions that would further complicate the bewildering mess of current immigration laws.

en I think it's an insult and an affront to every legal immigrant who's obeyed all the laws and done everything the country's asked of them, ... I don't think it's fair that millions of people should be able to cut in line in front of them. It directly undermines our immigration laws.

en Punishments will be meted out to those flouting and violating work safety laws and rules, abusing power for private gain or being neglectful of duties or obligations.

en An employer must keep its promises. If you can prove that the employer promised you a 6 percent commission, with no cap, and then reneged on the promise, you have the makings of a successful lawsuit.

en There is no human right to enter another country in violation of its laws. Illegal immigration is a threat to our system of laws and an affront to the millions around the world, including in Mexico, who play by the rules in seeking to come to the United States.

en Let all those who flout the nation's immigration laws be warned we plan to take swift and decisive action against you, ... defend the integrity of this nation's immigration laws.
  Janet Reno

en That's the way it should be. I'm tired of hearing how America is so stringent on immigration laws. We're a country at war, we have to know who's coming in here.

en What is new is the extent of immigration, some of it legal, some of it not, in new communities across the country. They don't know how to deal with it so they freak out and pass laws.

en We keep finding out the hard way that private property rights aren't quite as sacred to some as they used to be. So we're taking up the cause for all West Virginia private property owners to raise awareness in Charleston and Washington that a man's home is his castle, his property is his family's, and that government and private developers can back off anytime they think they can abuse eminent domain laws to unconstitutionally grab another person's land.

en It's an unusual step. It's a big step, but what the president did by consciously and intentionally violating the constitution and laws of this country with this illegal wiretapping has to be answered.
