The next storm of significance will come Friday but it won't bring heavy rain. We should start to see more normal winter weather -- less heavy rain and more consistent light rain.

We'd get snow and rain, and then a lot of rain. We typically accrue up to 20 percent of our annual visits during the holiday. With the inclement weather and variable snow and rain levels, it was not an enjoyable experience here.

I play the county courses every Wednesday, rain or shine. I play all winter at courses, including some private ones, but that can get expensive. By Tuesday, the storm should drop another inch of rain in the Willamette Valley and two to three inches of rain along the coast and the foothills of the Cascades.
