They now have more responsibility for applications than just determining whether the network is the source of the problem. . . . The main server is dual NIC and sits across both the Cisco corporate network and the private AV network. In that way, any computer on Cisco's world network can see and activate the commands of that center if it is authorized to do so, without the AV components themselves being exposed to the network and the security issue.
