We just have to relax and play and not panic. ... I wish we were hitting better, but we are not swinging the bats that well right now. But we have faced pretty good pitching.

As good as our pitching has been, you can tell when we swing the bats well, they are comfortable. When we're not swinging the bats, they are not too comfortable on the mound. Hitting will really dictate how well we do the last month.

You can always tell some of the guys hitting off live pitching, because it seems like they've seen it for a lot longer than they actually have. We saw some opportunities where we could take advantage of it, because overall we have pretty good team speed. We'll probably have to move some runners around a lot early because we've had some problems making contact, not seeing much live pitching yet. That was also part of the reason. Hopefully, as the bats warm up a little bit, we might be able to take our chances swinging it. But right now we've got to try to generate something.

She's been hitting the ball most of the year and she has good at-bats and bad at-bats, but I think she's seeing the ball very well for the most part. Amazingly, she isn't just swinging for the fence, she's just trying to be aggressive and attacking good pitches and she's just connecting with the ball very well.
