en They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

en Overall, it was a good meet for us. Iowa City West was strong everywhere, and Mount Pleasant is also very good, and the competition was just what we needed. Most of our kids responded well to the toughness of the meet.

en For a while I thought the one run was going to be enough. The Mount Pleasant pitcher did a good job and I knew she would. But Kelsey was up to the task just like she's been all season.

en The traditional Fortune 500 companies have to steer clear (of Bryant). McDonald's, Sprite, they have the pick of the litter of who they can work with, and they don't have to work with athletes. I think he's probably out for good for Fortune 500 guys. They could get an emerging star who lacks the baggage and rap sheet Kobe has.

en That's just good defense on our part. We knew Mount Pleasant could be explosive because they had been beating teams a lot of different ways.

en They are very, very good. They have a really good point guard and a couple good scorers. They are balanced and have a quick team. We're going to have to play very, very well to stay with them.
