You're supposed to win the games you're supposed to win and you're supposed to win the tough games. The camaraderie on this football team, I think is pretty solid. We feed off each other and I think the potential really is the sky.

The whole team wanted to be positive and wanted to go for a win. Cricket needs positive games. It doesn't need teams batting out and drawing games. For us, as a team moving forward, we're young and we need to be positive. To set a declaration and to try to go for a win was in our minds the only way to play. The negative option never came in.

I think we have been playing good basketball even when we haven't won. This team has stayed positive and stayed energized and now maybe we are getting a little luckier and a little tougher.

I'm really proud of Cole. Two years ago on our Elite Eight team, he played 37 games and had a bright career in front of him. (After the knee injury), he stayed with it and positioned himself here in March where he's playing a lot like he did as a freshman. He gives our team something we badly need, and that's rebounding. Especially without Thornton, that's our Achilles' heel. And tonight that wasn't as big of a problem for us.

We've done a lot of good things these three games to be positive about. The outcome wasn't what we wanted but if we keep playing that way and getting good pitching and playing the way we're supposed to play, the wins will start coming.

I was starting to question my own sanity (after the first two games). You don't pull on Superman's cape - we were over our heads in those games. But the kids stayed positive and that's important.

Those other games he wasn't getting the ball enough. Tonight we went to him a lot and it made a big difference. He's starting to get a little more confident. He feels like it's a positive that the team wants him to be involved down low.

Everyone in the whole team wanted to be positive this morning and go for a win. Cricket itself needs positive games. It doesn't need teams batting out and drawing games.

You really have nothing to lose in that situation. I choked up a little bit, especially with two strikes. I wasn't looking for an offspeed pitch, but I knew he had it. He ended up throwing me another fastball that I stayed on and hit it where I was supposed to hit it instead of trying to pull it.

I hope that's one of the reasons they brought me in. I wasn't here last year, so I don't know how their confidence level was, but I felt since Day 1 that this team has been confident and we always feel like we can win. The key today was when they started coming back we never panicked. We stayed together. We stayed focused. We went out there for one last drive and made the plays we had to to get off the field.

For me, it's all about the first 81 games. It's by then that you know what the team has for the most part. If you get to 81 games with a decent record, the confidence grows. You start winning games you're not supposed to win.

I feel good, I'm getting into my game, obviously the first two games wasn't the best but it became a mental issue for me, I feel I can carry on and contribute to the team in a positive way. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. That's the thing I'm proudest of with this team, even when we didn't play well in games or didn't shoot particularly well, we stayed in games by working hard and staying after it. We beat a very good, well-coached team tonight.
