en I'm proud of these guys, we played hard, ... I'm disappointed and I'm ticked off that we didn't win a game in this World Series, but I'm proud of our players.

This year, we are not thinking as much about that as just playing hard and smart to get the victory.

en In an ideal world, we'd have more time to get these players acclimated to the new staff. But we've worked overtime to get these players ready to play and comfortable with the 2006 approach.

en I think at the outset, even though we had high expectations, we needed for players to step up and be consistent. We had a hard time for various reasons.
