en We were looking at the shot chart (at halftime), and a lot of their shots were out on the perimeter. Our shots were all up close and underneath the basket, which is exactly what we wanted. I told the guys that we've just got to put the ball in the basket.

en When you don't give up second shots, you usually win. Today, we were getting second chances on offense and holding them to one shot at our end, and that was the key to the win.

en What they do, they do extremely well. We kept a shot chart on them and about 80 percent of their shots came within two feet of the basket because they're so good inside. We've got to give up shots to people who don't normally score to get some more bodies inside.

en Dan always finds a way to put himself in a position to score. He has a special feel for offense. He takes some off-balance shots, but we don't touch his form, just like we didn't mess with Curtis Borchardt 's shot-blocking. Dan has thrown up some awful-looking shots, but they have gone in.

en They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

en We were down to 10 on the shot clock a couple of times. You definitely take the air out of team's sails when you do that. We made tough shots down the stretch. I think that bothered them. They weren't concentrating on offense.

en They didn't give us a lot of great opportunities. We got a lot of shots early from the perimeter. Getting those power-plays early on can haunt you if you don't score on those chances.

en The shot chart is the story of the game, where their shots came from versus where our shots came from.

en If she's playing like she was today, she can be a one man team. When you give any team three or four chances after shots like we were giving them, they are going to hit those shots.
