It's about time. We owe that to them to give them something to cheer about. They come out every game and supported us every game even though we were losing.

As long as the boys are playing, we are cheering. We're here Aug. 1 and we're here through to the end of the season. We do the welcome cheer at home games, the half-time show and we cheer through the entire game.

After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

The crowd was into it and really supported us. The problem was we didn't do enough damage to give them many reasons to cheer.

I had a kid come up to me the other day and give me a hard time about losing. He said, 'Good one. I came up to a game and you guys didn't win.' But what can you do?

I felt if there was a time for the Colts to be ripe for the picking, it was this game, and I said it before the game. It was almost a month since they played a meaningful game with all their starters, and you risk losing intensity going into the playoffs.

My wife likes to give me a hard time by saying the boys game is a physical game, where the girls game is a finesse game.

I sure hope CBS has something to do with selections in the future, because we make for great TV. Every time we're in the tournament, we give them one heck of a game. Unfortunately for us, we came out on the losing end of this one.

We need to forget about the Barcelona game as quickly as possible. We can't wait for Lyon to arrive so we can win and give our supporters something to cheer.

It was a great game. A good bounce-back game for us after losing to Canada yesterday. It showed how much pride we have in USA Basketball. After losing yesterday's game, coming out and being able to play hard today against Puerto Rico, that says a lot.

Hopefully, we will give them something to cheer about. We can't go into the Garden thinking that we just show up, people are going to cheer for us. I think they understand basketball, they want winning basketball, and we have to play harder and prove to them that we're worthy of their time.

And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports' Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. I feel that I'm not losing the game for our team. I'm trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. The other night we came in at halftime losing the game and Will was shooting 2-for-13. I said, 'Will, if you shoot 4-for-20, we're not going to win this game.' We end up winning the game and he shoots 4-for-19. I guess he knew not to shoot one more time.

That was a really disappointing day, shocking day, to give up that sort of lead when we really needed to win to make finals still. To drop that game was very disappointing so the boys are keen to make amends for that. It's a bit of payback I suppose. You want to win every game but it was so disappointing losing that game.
