Catriona played brilliantly, and I felt I really hung in there. I didn't hit too many greens but I got up and down and it was a great way to finish.

We just didn't finish. I felt Bassett played hard. We played hard, too, but we didn't convert some turnovers down the stretch. We just got to finish at the basket and be a little tougher when the game's on the line.

We had a great year. It's too bad we had to end it on that note because I thought we were the better team out there tonight. We just didn't finish. They had a couple of bad goals and hung in there, so it was just kind of disappointing.

We really thought we'd have a better performance than this. We just didn't finish. Home court means everything and (Lake Gibson) played well. But we just didn't finish. It makes it hard to play well when you don't finish well.

This was a fantastic win for Fernando. He had a great car this afternoon and he controlled the race from start to finish. There were a lot of complicated situations to deal with and he did it brilliantly.

In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

That's his second college football game and he was going against the No. 1 defense in the country who were very physical, very fast and hit him harder than he has ever been hit. He's a tough kid. The greens were so firm Monday and Tuesday that I was dreading it, ... The fairways were a lot firmer then, so you hit shorter shots in. I hit 6-iron into 17 today. In the practice round, I hit a gap wedge. That's a big difference. The greens were softer, but the course played so much longer. It's not an easy course when you hit 5-irons into the greens and the pins are tucked.

I was really happy with the way the girls played tonight. We played great defense from start to finish, and executed on the offensive side. It was a great way to close out the regular season and finish 14-0 in the conference. I'm really proud of their effort tonight.

She pitched awesome, we just didn't give her any run support. She hung in there; she made big pitches in big situations and I thought our defense played great behind her.

Any type of finish would have been acceptable as long as it gives me a win. I don't think I played very well in the whole tournament. I missed eight greens today alone and saving pars proved the key.

Besides the finish, I played 15 holes of really good golf. I'm still learning these greens. They still spook me in spots. But I can see myself contending here in future years.
